Few days back and still upside down

It is amazing how much the travel back from China affects you. Did not seem to have trouble adjusting when we arrived in China but it is another story coming home. They say it takes awhile to adjust, but the sooner the better is what I am hoping for. Tanith is having lots of fun playing with her cousins and meeting all the family and friends. I will say that she is a trooper, as she has a cold, is teething and is adjusting to a new life, but yet she always has a smile for everyone. I am definitely loving the time off with her. My favorite time is in the morning when she wakes up and we have cuddle time.  On an interesting note, it is so true what they say about potty training in China (if you do not know I can elaborate later) and we have been lucky to keep it up the entire trip and at home. Today we bought her a special potty (sorta like the one she was used to in China) and it worked like a charm.  The next step will be for her to be able to tell us she needs to go potty...but I do realize she is only 13 mos and that we have plenty of time for that. Things I need to do is be better at documenting and uploading pictures and start on Thank You notes for all the wonderful gifts she has been receiving. Heading for the beach tomorrow and should have some good pictures to share later.

  1. Hi! yes she is a trooper! she is such a happy baby, always smiling! I love how she loves talking on her cell phone, she is so smart, she is going to be walking without assistance in no time! She is so lucky to have as her mommy! But yes, keep uploading the pictures.
    Love you!
