Our little girl is 20 months old

Tanith is 20 months old today and is doing great. She is trying to speak more and has added a few new words/sounds to her repertoir. Burr when its cold outside, wow, bye and Tita (grandma). She is definitely an outdoor girl. Every chance she gets she wants to be outside. She actually takes us by the hand and leads us to the front door. I am looking forward to the time change so we can be outside past six o'clock because she is not a happy camper when we have to say "not now". She loves to kick the soccer ball around, chase the dogs in the backyard and has learned how to play fetch with them.
Tanith will play by herself for a short time, but would much rather have you join her.  She will actually point to the ground where she wants you to sit.  Loves the water and lays in the bath tub until the last drop goes down the drain and I still need to pull her out or she would stay in there longer (guess swimming lessons are coming soon). Tanith thinks jumping on the bed, the couch, the dog and just about anything; is okay...well it's not!

She really has a love for music...you can tell she is actually feeling the music as she listens or plays it. I think we have a natural musician on our hands. Trying to work on her eating etiquette, as she thinks it is acceptable to throw her dish and utensils on the floor when she is done eating. Even though this is very wrong I have to give her credit for the enthusiasm she puts into it; looking forward to the day that she says "all done" instead of her current technique.

What we are really noticing now is that she is fearless (a little scary from mommy). She just jumps in and tries everything; at one point, she jumped up on the lazer scooter without any assistance from grandpa and just took off. I think it is time to invest in helmets and pads, but may have to super glue the helmet on since she does not like to wear anything on her head.

Stay tuned for the April posting...unless anything comes up before that :)
