We had a very busy July with Tita visiting, so I am not sure how we can top it this month, but I am sure we will try. Tanith has a few more weeks left of gymnastics, which she loves. She is also watching the gymnasts on TV for the Olympics and attempts to do what they are doing and says "ta da" afterwards. We have a cute video of her cheering for China during a women's water polo final.Operation Potty...this month we are down to crunch time on the potty training. If you ask her what she needs to do in order to go to school, she says "potty train", but we are not 100% yet, maybe 70%. She has been better at times telling us when she needs to go #1, but never #2...I am remaining hopeful, but I am also realistic.
So to help the process a long, I have decided...no more pull-ups, and so far so good....keeping positive!
Operation Potty Update- We have been doing really, really good. Have had some minor accidents, but we are now big girl panties all day, no matter what we are doing. She has even surprised us and went by herself a few times. I love it when I hear her say "Bye Bye Pee Pee". Countdown 17 days until school starts. I think we may make it...crossing fingers, toes, arms and legs.
Operation Potty Final Update- We are potty trained...and it did not take long, just like everyone said. She is doing so good and now tells us everytime. YEAH Tanith!

I love it when you,
- When you sing songs that you made up
- How you want me to "show you" how to do something, rather than me doing it for you
- When you climb into your car seat and fasten your safety belt and say "I do it all myself"
- How we can have a conversation now...it has elevated from one word to sentences
- How you really want to learn how to tie daddy's shoe laces
- When you say "just a little bit" and use your fingers to show a little
- When you say "let me show you"
- When you tap your chin when you are thinking about something...just like mommy does
- When I say you can watch one episode of Calliou, but then you have to turn off the TV and take your nap...and you do.
- Need to go potty, but you "pause" the TV show first.
- When your friend is crying because she got a boo boo and you go get her favorite doll, give it to her and makes sure she is okay.
- When daddy is bugging you and you know it. You say "daddy is messing with me"
- That you alwasys need "2 (two fingers are displayed) more minutes".
