Daddy Visits My School

Take Your Dad To School Day

Today was a special day for Tanith. As she said, daddy the Police Officer came to her school. Tanith was so excited that her daddy came to school and you could just see the pride. Daddy rolled up in his "black and white" with lights and sirens. He spoke with the kids about gun safety, that the police were the good guys and how to call for help. He let the kids sit inside the police car and even run the siren.  The highlight was when he took four kindergartners for a ride in the car around the parking lot.  They all had such a good time and asked lots of questions.

March Update

Monthly Update

Weight:  33 pounds
Height:   39 inches

What's New
March is going to be a busy month full of activities and spending time with Tito/Papi.
  • We have been working on our Letters and Numbers and Tanith is now able to spell her name and recognizes the letters in other words.  So proud of our little girl.
  • "Look what I can do" is one of her favorite sayings now and then does a spin or balances on one leg.
  • Tanith was so excited when her Tito arrived. On the first day, within the first two hours after we walked into the house, she had him playing games, barbies, play-doh.
  • Of course even with Tito visiting, she is still going to school.  When we picked her up one day, she was so excited that Tito came. She had to introduce him to all the teachers and give him the grand tour of her school.
  • Everyday when I pick her up from school, both her and Sophia (BFF) run over and tell me that they need to go over and play at each others house...so they can be best friends.  Everyday!  I guess I may need to arrange play dates now.
  • Tanith wants to help with everything and insisted she fold her laundry, so I let her and was surprised she did a great job.
  • We have conversations now...we talk about her day and what "her favorite part was" and she jumps into other peoples discussions...she wants to be involved.  At the vet, she had a thirty minute conversation with a lady about her cat.  She just asked a lot of questions and was completely engaged in the conversation.
  • She says to me "mommy my tummy says I am hungry" and then proceeds to tell me what she wants to eat.
  • Lately, she wants to brush my hair and style it, so almost every night before bed we watch her shows and she brushes my hair.
Here are some pictures captured so far...
