December is upon us and sooooo ready for the holiday's.What's new...
12/4 - I was able to drop Tanith off at school at the regular start time today which rare for me. Normally I drop her off early and pick her up late. I wish I did not have to work so hard and that I could just be a "mommy". My favorite thing about dropping her off, is that I love seeing her interact with others and she wants to show me everything she is able to do on the playground; today it was jumping rope. Later when I picked her up, she gave me a card (seen below). It says "I love you mommy xoxoxo" (hugs and kisses) and then on the inside it said, "You are the best in the world". Melts my heart. The picture on top is Santa and Rudolf, but she had issues drawing that and then she has a chimney on the side of the house and arrows pointing to where the presents are going. So special!

Dec 6 - Someone lost tooth #3 and the Tooth Fairy was very generous the next day!
Dec 7 - Getting ready for Elyse's Birthday
12/10 - Tanith was so excited to go shopping at school for the holidays. The day before she already checked out all the items at the holiday boutique and decided that she wanted to get a special hat (seen below) that cost $10 and then a gift for daddy and mommy at $3 each. She used all her own money and even wore the hat to school today. In addition, when I picked her up from school, Santa made a surprise visit and she got to tell him what she wanted for Christmas (a locket) and I took a few pictures.
Dec 17 - Tanith lost tooth #4, unfortunately the tooth was lost because someone "Tanith" decided to play with it and it disappeared. So now she needs to write the Tooth Fairy a note...I am sure it will work.
Dec 18 - Tanith school Winter Program. Tanith practice the songs for a few weeks and sang her little heart out and nailed all the moves and gestures.

Dec 24 Merry Christmas Eve with the cousins
Dec 25 - Christmas Day...looks like Tanith got everything she asked Santa for and a little bit more. Special moment from the day, is when she climbed in bed and cuddled...she did not say anything about opening gifts...then eventually said, guess what...Santa came. I responded, really how do you know this and she said because of the gifts under the tree. So she did go out first thing in look...of course who wouldn't, but did not go crazy. Eventually she asked when were we going to open the gifts :)
Another moment: After breakfast, right before we were going to open gifts, she was over looking at all the gifts and said she could not find any with daddy or mommy's name on them...she was right, they were all for her...little did I know, but while I was clearing the table, she went in her room and found something for both mommy and daddy to open...love how caring she is and so thoughtful of others...LOVE!
