June 1 - Today was a busy day. Tanith is getting a Student of the Month award and then later she is performing with the first graders "Going Buggy". The classes have been practicing for weeks now and I think I know all the words and dance moves too now. Tanith is a butterfly and is performing seven songs. Everyone has been telling her how "cute" she looks in her outfit and for some reason she is not comfortable with all the compliments...too adorable.
Student of the Month award for being friendly and caring...she was so excited to be up there, especially with her buddies Lincoln and Latrisha.

End of School Year Carnival - Tanith spent the evening hanging out with Jordan and had a blast going on all the jumpers and carnival games. Nice way to end 1st Grade!
Sunday, June 5 - nice warm day to break in the pool. The water was a bit on the chilly side, but that did not stop the girls from having fun.
6/10 - As the school year is coming to the end, one thing Tanith misses out on is celebrating her birthday with her classmates. This year we decided to have an early birthday and brought in cupcakes for all to enjoy...so glad we did this.

Weekend fun with cousins again, but this time ended with Tanith not feeling well and getting sick on our way to lunch...poor thing never really gets sick, usually a cough or runny nose, so this time was the real deal and she had the stomach flu...glad it only lasted one day and she was back to her normal self. Here are the before sick pictures!
Monday, June 13...the last week of 1st grade begins with PJ Day. Tanith was so excited to wear her pajamas to school, she actually wanted to wear them the night before so she would not have to dress in the morning. Concept was good, but I had her put on the clean pair in the morning :)
Someone has the "art" bug...I just think it was an excuses to get paint on everything :)

Last day of school!!! Daddy asked you if you wanted to go out for a special lunch and you said you wanted to go to grandmas to swim and so you did ;)
