April 1 - Today marks seven years ago today, when I received the most important, life changing phone call of my life. I remember this day so vividly and remember how overwhelmed with joy I felt when the person on the other end of the phone informed me that we have been matched to a beautiful baby girl. The long wait was over and the rush to getting things ready and planning our trip to China began. We do not celebrate this day, as we do Family Day, but we do acknowledge the day and tell Tanith the story about the best phone call ever!

April 4 - Open House - the kids are amazing and have definitely learned a lot this year.
April 7 - Grandma keeping up tradition that would make Grandma Sylvia proud and styled Tanith's hair for school in a french braid.
Came home after brunch and one the Easter Bunny left a special treat (aka the neighbor)

April 5 - Lot's of events this week and one being Tanith getting a Student of the Month award for Outstanding Effort, which truly represent the growth she has had over the last few months. Way to go baby girl...I am always so proud of you!

April 9 - Fun day at Disney. Beautiful weather and not too crowded for a Sunday.

Tanith's school field trip to the History Museum in Los Angeles. 2nd grade is all about studying the dinosaurs, so this was a highlight to all the students learning throughout the year.

Special morning. Brady never wants to cuddle with Tanith and she takes it very personal. We explain that Brady does what he wants, when he wants, so when I woke up in the morning and say him cuddling with Tanith, I had to take the picture. She was so happy when she woke up.
4/17 - Spring Break Shenanigans!
Tanith and mommy day of miniature golf and water bumper ride. Lots of fun and mommy got super soaked. It did feel good after two rounds of golf in the heat.
Disneyland with cousins and grandma/pa...last big adventure over Spring Break.

Someone decided to wash Pooh Bears outfit and made a clothes line using a jump-rope, chair, clips, and the dishwasher...love the ingenuity.

Someone learned about curlers and looks adorable. She liked the curls, but said it was a little uncomfortable sleeping with rollers.
