We decided to grow our family through adoption...this is our journey. "An ancient Chinese belief is that there is an invisible red thread connecting those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but never break."

Summertime China Sister BBQ
We had a Summertime BBQ and swim party at my parents house for Tanith and her BFF's. It was a wonderful day with a lot of tasty eats and of course great friends and family. The pool was the biggest hit of the day and if it was up to the kids they would have never got out. It has been awhile since everyone has been together and it was great to see how all the girls are developing and that they are interacting with each other a lot more now.

Happy Family Day
Today is our family day or gotcha day anniversary, when Tanith was officially handed to us in China. This will always be a very important day for us as it represents when our family began. I always look back and reminisce about our trip to China and cannot believe we have been home together for only two years, it feels like we were always together. I am looking forward to the day when Tanith understands better and we can share the amazing story with her.
