Time is flying by way to fast. It is already May and two months left of 3rd grade. Looking forward to sharing the events of the month and photos following Tanith's adventures. More to come.

What's new? 
Well not really new, but something that has been happening since Tanith was very little. We always talk about what she wants to do when she grows up and I have not been very good at documenting what age she was when she mentioned the following career paths. But here is a list anyways:

• Gymnastics Coach (around age 5)
• Mommy (5 yrs old)
• Hair Stylist (6 yrs old)
• Dog Sitter (7 yrs old)
• Substitute Teacher (8 yrs old)
• Walmart Worker (8 yrs old)
• McDonalds Worker (8 yrs old)

Only time will tell. If I could predict what her career path will be, I would put money on a Teacher. Tanith loves helping and teaching the young kids during her after school program and I think she would make a great teacher one day.

Mother's Day Weekend. Spa Day and Brunch = Perfect weekend. Tanith wrote me an amazing card which she read to me on Mother's Day...so proud of how she is developing and her natural ability to care for others.

Saturday at The Aquarium at the Pacific in Long Beach, Sleepover with Megan and Olethia, and brunch with friends. Such a great weekend, but we are all pooped.

Springtime!

What is new in April.

Easter fell on April 1 this year, which is also a reminder of the day many years ago when we got the phone call that we had been matched with Tanith. One of the best days ever! 

To celebrate the day, we had a wonderful time with friends for Easter Brunch and then home to relax and get ready for Spring Break for Tanith and work for mommy. 

 

  

Spring photos. Tanith did not like this picture, she actually was not happy with the way they made her pose. I still think its a cute picture...but what do I know...I  am just mom. 

So Tanith had a big week. On Monday, April 9 she had a tooth pulled and then on April 12 she had an expander put in to prepare her for braces. Tanith has a real small mouth and has not had it easy but she is strong and resilient and is powering through it like a pro. Here is a picture from April 13 the day after. 

Month is going by really fast, so here are some random photos to wrap up the month.

Open House 3rd Grade Achievements, Tanith was so excited to show me all the work she completed, drawings, presentations, and how much she has improved in writing since the beginning of the year.

Indian Princesses - Annual Fiesta Island Campout in San Diego. Tanith and friends had a lot of fun paddle boarding, playing in the bay, and participating in tons of activities. Only one picture evidence of daddy being their is his feet...oh well, he is not the best at capturing photo memories.
