Happy New Year! Rang in the new year with pouring rain, which to me is a perfect symbol of transitioning into a new year! Fresh and with so much opportunity. 

Spent New Years with the Bischof’s, our tradition. 

Also had a fun road trip with cousins to Palm Springs, and the big event…

We went to Big Bear for a long weekend getaway to honor Todd on his Birthday weekend. He would have been 54…and is missed so much. We had two full days of snow failing and lots of sledding. We all had so much fun! We overcame being locked out of the cabin for two hours, with the kids in the jacuzzi and Summer and I huddled together. Thankfully I had my phone to call for rescue:) we overcame putting on snow chains while it was snowing, and one of us getting stuck and having to be towed out of the canyon. But we did it, we overcame all of it and are stronger for it. Hopefully we modeled the behavior to our kids of never giving up, staying calm and making the best out of the crazy challenges. We laughed a lot and will remember this trip as being the best time ever!

 It’s so hard to believe the year is almost over. After missing Thanksgiving because of Covid, finally enjoying a slice of grandmas pumpkin pie 🥧 

Had a fun day shopping. Tanith needed a business outfit to wear at school and then we had a late lunch. Couldn’t have asked for a better day! 

Hanukkah Cookies and more! 

Tanith ran her first 5K on a Dec 31. She killed it and actually had to slow down to keep the same pace as her cousin. She is a natural and loves to run. I hope there are more opportunities next year for her to run in these races!
