It was another nice get together of all the Jiangxi "sisters". Maddie, Erin, Lucia, Tanith, and Meghan had a nice afternoon playing. All the girls are getting bigger and interacting more with each other. There was a "Secret Santa" gift exchange for the girls and lots of great eats! I love that we are able to stay connected with each other and more importantly that the girls will always have a special bond between them.
We decided to grow our family through adoption...this is our journey. "An ancient Chinese belief is that there is an invisible red thread connecting those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but never break."

Merry Christmas
It was a very Merry Christmas this year. Christmas Eve was spent with the family at my aunts house and it was so nice having the little ones running around and keeping us entertained. Tanith was not too thrilled with Santa when he visited the house, but she loved her gifts. Maybe next year she wont hide in my arms at the sight of Santa. We spent Christmas Day relaxing at home and then time with friends in the evening. Enjoying all these first moments as a family and look forward to many more. Happy Holiday's everyone!

Getting Ready for Christmas
Tonight we started to get ready for Christmas. We picked out our tree and decorated it (I did my best, but to my defense, I have only done this a few times). Tanith was helping by taking the bulbs off the tree that I just put up. The tree is in our living room and just a side note, since Tanith came home the living room has been converted into her playroom, so now we need to keep an extra eye on her during play time as she is drawn to the tree and all the lights. Next on the list of things to do...buy gifts to place under the tree.
