On Sunday, April 24, we had the opportunity to join the Kinman's 8th Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Tanith and most of her sisters were there. The girls had a lot of fun running around Pat's back yard, finding eggs and hanging out. It started off as a rainy morning and turned into a glorious sunny day. Pat, Dave and Erin hosted a wonderful event and we always love getting the girls together. I took so many pictures that day, but here are a few of my favorites.
We decided to grow our family through adoption...this is our journey. "An ancient Chinese belief is that there is an invisible red thread connecting those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but never break."

Tanith's First Passover and Egg Hunt
Our little girl celebrated her first Passover last Sunday with the family. My mom hosted a wonderful dinner (as usual) with the relatives. Tanith tried everything and liked grandmas matzo ball soup the best.
Here are some pictures from the evening...I wish I took more.

Playground and Disney Weekend!
On Saturday, April 2nd, daddy with the help of grandpa and uncle Steve put up a playground set in the background. While the guys were busy in back, Tanith's grandma, auntie Sheryl and her cousins had a nice visit. The girls were kept inside while the men worked in the backyard and they kept looking out the window and screaming with excitement...they wanted to play! They finally had the opportunity and had a blast.
On Sunday, April 3rd we took Tanith to Disneyland for her 1st time. McDonough was our tour guide while in Disney and he did a great job making sure Tanith got to all the key rides :) The day was made even more special since she was able to spend it with her buddies Meghan and Maddie. We also had the opportunity to meet other families who had adopted from China and appreciated their hospitality. Tanith really had a lot of fun running around the park, hanging out with her friends and going on rides. Special thanks to Margot and Donovan.
Everyone made this day so memorable for us and we cannot wait to go back! Here are some photos capturing this wonderful weekend.
