As you can imagine, I captured a lot of the day in pictures and here are some of my favorites.
We decided to grow our family through adoption...this is our journey. "An ancient Chinese belief is that there is an invisible red thread connecting those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but never break."

Happy 4th of July
Tanith celebrated her first 4th of July this year!
We had a great afternoon BBQ with the neighbors and Tanith had so much fun playing with the older kids. She wanted to do whatever they were doing and they all took such good care of her. Dorothy's fabulous potato salad, homemade deserts and John's killer margaritas were a hit. We were not sure how Tanith was going to react with all the fireworks, but once again she amazed us. She absolutely loved them and kept asking for more. She covered her own ears when she felt it was too noisy and sometimes grabbed my hands and covered them...too adorable.
