Yesterday we had a wonderful Hanukkah Party at my parents house. Lots of traditional Latkes baked in oil...how can you go wrong and plenty of gifts for the girls to open. Tanith and her cousins had a lot more fun this year compared to last year. Of course grandma and grandpa showered them with lots of wonderful gifts. At first they did really good taking turns. First Monet, then Tanith, followed by Elyse...then mayhem took over and they could not wait any longer...the excitement to open the gifts and see what they got took over. I think at one point they even had more fun opening and playing in all the wrapping paper then they did with the actual gifts. Tanith got a train set, pajamas, books, candy, LeapPad with games and a case, and lots of art supplies. Now we are looking forward to more holiday festivities with the relatives tomorrow. Happy Holidays!
We decided to grow our family through adoption...this is our journey. "An ancient Chinese belief is that there is an invisible red thread connecting those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but never break."
