December Update

Monthly Update  (will add in later)
Height  38.5 inches
Weight

December is going to be a fun and exciting month with continuous updates. We will have family from Costa Rica visiting us and have big plans to build the snowman Tanith has been talking about since August :)  In addition, there are all the holiday events to attend.

What's new!
-Tanith is talking a lot...a lot! She has come so far in such a short time
-She really seems to grasp what is going on around her and able to rationalize situations
-She is totally potty trained...and even goes to the bathroom by herself now
-more to come...

Dec 1st
What a great way to start off the month...spending time with friends and the kids playing in snow and we did not have to travel to the mountains :),,,but sure we will!

The Atlantis Play Center in Garden Grove (which I used to go to when I was little) had their annual Winterfest day.  It has been raining for 3-days straight and was worried they would cancel, but it turned out that Saturday had no rain and we were able to attend.  Santa arrived in style on the top of a fire truck along with Mrs. Clause.  The park was decorated so nice and they had 30-tons of snow to play in, pictures with Santa, arts and crafts, music, jump houses and a train ride.  There were so many activities for the kids and Tanith and Alyssa had tons of fun...so did the parents.

Will definitely attend again next year.

Here is a follow-up picture someone from Tanith's school took when they had their All Saints Parade...love this photo of her.

Universal Studios
Had a wonderful day at Universal Studios.  This was Tanith's first time at the park and she enjoyed the shows. Unfortunately she was unable to go on most of the rides, but at least there was plenty of other things for her to enjoy. I think her favorite part was the Animal Actor Show.  We sat right in front so had a great view of all the animals. During the show they asked for volunteers and she raised her hand each time, but sadly was not picked (they were looking for older kids), but she turned to me with pure hope and what she said to me made my heart melt...she said, "mommy its almost my turn". She wanted to be picked so badly...maybe next time baby!  She also enjoyed the Tour of the back lot and all she wanted to see was the "big monkey",..aka King Kong.  She actually enjoyed the 3D show, even though mommy thought it might scare her. She said, "the monkey saved us" and "that was close".

Besides the fact that it did rain a bit and was cold, she lasted the entire day and finally fell asleep on the way home.
