Yesterday was Tanith's first school play. We had no idea what they were going to do and were excited to see it. I do not think I could sit still waiting for the show to begin...the anticipation was too much to handle :). I have waited a long time for this day and it was an amazing night. First Preschool 1 performed a few dance numbers to holiday songs and then Preschool 2 was up. Sister Rita and Sister Josephine did such an amazing job with the kids.
It started with a play about when Jesus was born and some of the kids had actual lines to recite (surprisingly they did an excellent job). Tanith played the role of one of the Angels. There was lots of dancing and signing from the class and Tanith looked beautiful. She remembered her dance steps and even sang along to the music...we have it on video. Her signing and laughter during the play was priceless and grandma, daddy and mommy were all very proud of her.

December 21 Santa Clara Day Nursery Holiday Party
Today was Tanith's school Christmas party. She has been out of school all week since her cousins are visiting, but we did take her to the party. We spent the day at the beach, so by the time we arrived at school she was tired. Her class was still taking their nap, so Tanith joined them...it had only been around ten minutes before Santa made his appearance, but she managed to fall asleep...and did not wake up when Santa arrived. Her cousin Mari had to go an wake her up...it took a few attempts, but as soon as she said Santa was her Tanith jumped up and was finally awake. The kids all received a nice gift, enjoyed an afternoon snack and playing. Here are a few snap shots from the festivities.
