Happy Birthday Daddy

Today is daddy's birthday and he doesn't look a day over 32 :)  Tanith and I had a lot of fun baking him a cake and lots of love went into making it.  The birthday cake looked great and I am sure it will taste great too, however mommy left it at home so we did not get the opportunity to try it yet.

We went out to dinner with the family and had a nice evening. After dinner on our way home we stopped by the Rodgers and had some tasty cup cakes...thanks T.
Here are some pictures from the day and a birthday card created by Tanith. We love you daddy/Rafa...Happy Birthday!

Chinese New Year Banquet

On Saturday, we attended our second annual Chinese New Year Celebration Banquet held in Chinatown. It was an exciting evening of food, dancing, activities and friends. We had the pleasure of spending the evening with Margot, (Donovan could not make it), McDonough, Meghan, Joan, Stephen, Diana and Olethea.

The girls (and parents) had so much fun running around together and especially the dancing. Meghan and Tanith would hold hands and jump around the dance floor. Both had to join in on every Congo Line that was started (a lot). Meghan was so cute holding on to Tanith each time. The best was seeing Olethea, Meghan and Tanith all together playing. There was lots of activities for everyone to enjoy, like the parade of the dancing dragons, acrobatic acts and a magic show.  The amount of food they serve is endless...of course I ate the noodles only, but everyone else enjoyed the rest. There seemed to be a lot more younger kids this year. Last year Tanith and Megahn were the youngest. This year there were tiny ones all over...so nice to see.

I took so many photos and videos. Here are some of my favorites from the night.

Baking a Cake

Today Tanith helped me bake a gingerbread cake. I promised her in the morning that we would bake a cake and she kept reminding me all day. She did a really good job with adding in all the ingredients and mixing the cake. Tanth enjoyed helping me, but I think her favorite part was licking the bowl...can you blame her!

The end result was a delicious desert.
