February Update

So Dec and Jan have felt like May and sometimes August.  We have had an unusually warm and dry Winter so far. Even had to pull out the Summer clothes because it has been in the high 80 and 90's at times. Looking forward for some colder weather this month.    Lot's of events planned for the month...as usual.

Random Things About You:

• You love your Disney movies, but none of them put you into a trance like Frozen...you do not move, blink an eye, nothing...your focus is entirely on the movie.  Below is a video clip that occurs towards the end of the movie.  It is a very emotional part and you feel every bit of it...even got a little embarrassed when you realized I was watching/taping.  Melts my heart to see how emotional you do get and your understanding of what was happening in the movie to create those emotions.  Beautiful!
• We had your first parent/teacher conference and overall you are doing well. Your teacher "said you always volunteer for prayer and learning activities and your very social (sometime during study time)."  We decided to look into some speech therapy to help prepare you for kindergarten, but everything else is right on track. 
• Asked Tanith what she wanted to be when she grows up.  I said a doctor -no, a vet- no , ice skater - no, musician-no... Then what I asked?  She said a mommy!

Report Card- This is your very first report card from school...here are the results

Feb 1 - Today was you last day of ice skating lessons. You did so good and even was signed off to join Level 2 which is more advanced. I asked if you wanted to continue and you said no, but you might change your mind. Your always tired and have cold feet (literally) after practice so that may have had some impact on your decision to continue or not.  I will say that I was so impressed how well you did and took to the ice.

Feb 2 - Superbowl

Feb 15 -  Chinese New Year Celebration Banquet.  This year our annual FCC event will be held at a new venue, but should be a lot of fun.  I will post updates after the event!
