Our little girl is growing up and went to her first day of Preschool today. It really just feels like we were in China meeting her for the first time...how fast it all goes. As we drove up, she yelled "that's my preschool"...yes baby it is! I cannot explain how happy she was, but it was pure joy. She was so excited it was like she could not contain all that happiness.
Before we got her checked in she wanted to run and play. She is in the Preschool #2 class and had a special name badge waiting for her. She immediately ran into the playground and did not know what to do first, but she managed to do everything before class started. She went for the blocks, the swings, the slide, bird cages, and bike. Before she even got started she ran up to both of us and gave us a hug and kiss and said bye...but we were not leaving yet :). We watched her run around and then the bell rang and it was time to start school. She stood in line with the other kids and waved good bye. I think it was only hard on mommy and daddy. We watched her get acclimated to the classroom and finally her teachers had all the parents leave.
I couldn't wait to pick her up and hear all about the day and were happy to hear she did great and she had lots of fun. We celebrated her successful first day with a trip for ice cream! We are so proud of you!

Below is a picture of Tanith's first art project she brought home. She was so proud of it and yelled surprise when I found it in her backpack.
On September 20 we went to Tanith's school for Open House. The sisters had a nice presentation for us with pictures of the kids during school (photos to come soon). They also sang and we had the opportuiity to meet her teachers. Here are a few pictures from the visit.
